Central Vietnam Trip Part V - Ana Mandara Hue

We parted way with Hoi An after 3 days and moved up North to Hue City.

Hue is one of Vietnam’s highlights. Hue City was the Imperial Capital of the Nguyen Dynasty between 1802 and 1945, until which time it was also the National Capital. Today, it has earned a place as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Citadel protected the Forbidden Purple City where only the Nguyen Emperors, concubines and close associates were granted access. (I will cover this in my next post)

Our home at Hue for the next 2 days was Ana Mandara operated by Hotel Collection Indochine – Vietnam’s first home-grown hotel and resort management company.

We were upgraded to their sea-view Villas upon check-in. The villas were huge and very comfortable. Each villa has its own private pool and we could feel the relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay here.
